Batya Friedman: And then if there was something that you would want to say to the Rwandan people now and in the future, for 30, 50, 100 years from now, what would that be, and if you’d like to speak in Kinyarwanda, that’s fine too.

BF: No, that is fine.

BF: That is fine. So – and is there anything else that you would like to say?
Ce que je peux dire, peut-être en dernier, c’est que j’aurais aimé par exemple que vraiment s’il y a, – je ne souhaite pas, mais s’il y a quelque part encore un Tribunal international, comme je l’ai dit, ce tribunal ait beaucoup plus des activités dans le pays qui a souffert.
Parce que la justice çavraiment doit être pour les gens qui ont souffert dans le pays même, et cela ça peut aider au niveau de la réconciliation. Et que on fasse même participer dans cette justice, – je ne connais pas le cas exactement de, de la Sierra Leone.
Mais ce genre de tribunal hybride, je crois que ça serait vraiment une bonne chose, parce que les gens non seulement c’est tout près de la population, mais aussi, ils participent dans les opérations. Parce que quand je pense par exemple, – c’est pas totalement parfait mais au niveau de Gacaca, je me dis ça doit aider au niveau de la réconciliation nationale et c’est le plus important, c’est au niveau aussi de la stabilité du pays.
